Rathushan Selvakumar
Director of Conference
Currently in his senior year at Palmer Secondary, Rathushan is thrilled to serve as the Director of Conference for Elevate 2026. Rathu was first immersed in the Prosper Foundation’s mission after participating in the first iteration of Ascend, where he discovered his passion for participating in problem solving, critical thinking, and teamwork based situations. He now hopes to translate that passion into producing a new pathway for the future of Prosper events. At Elevate, Rathu aims to create an experience for attendees that goes above and beyond the standard case competition. Finalist or not, he hopes attendees walk away with the drive to take initiative and the confidence to make their ideas come true.
Outside of his work, you’ll find Rathu working on his car, working out or playing basketball with friends, and binge watching a random Netflix series. Whether he’s in the lab or under the hood, he’s always looking to connect with others and learn new things. He’s looking forward to meeting every participant at Elevate and having a friendly chat with like-minded individuals.
